The Squid and the Whale. It all started in 2011 when Renaldo “commissioned” Sarah for a painting of the timeless battle between the two aquatic beasts. (It was really just an equal exchange of goods – custom aquatic painting for red road bicycle.)
We’re Sarah and Renaldo, the dynamic husband and wife team behind Squid and Whale Books, our tiny indie press. You could say one of us is the squid and the other is the whale, each complementing each others strengths while trying to survive life with two ninjas and a small, ever-napping dog named Peanut.
